Ida Nianti Mohd Zin graduated from the University Science Malaysia with a BSc (Hons)
in Housing, Building and Planning and MSc in Construction Management.
She is a lecturer from Department of Building, Faculty of Architecture,
Planning and Surveying, University Technology MARA (UiTM) Perak, Malaysia.
She is currently undertaking her PhD in the School of the Built Environment,
University of Salford, UK. Her PhD is primarily about Structured and Formal
Approaches to Managing Knowledge in Malaysia Construction Industry.
She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building UK (CIOB)

Othman Mohamed is a lecturer from Department of Quantity Surveying,
Faculty of Built Environment, University of Malaya, Malaysia.
He is currently undertaking his PhD in the School of the Built Environment,
University of Salford, UK. His PhD is primarily about knowledge sharing
contribution of government agencies in construction industry. He obtained
his Master (MSc.) in Building Technology from the University Science
Malaysia and (MSc.) in Information Management from the University Technology

Fadhilah Mohd Nor is a Department Administrator of Polytechnic
Curriculum Development, Ministry of Higher Education in Putrajaya,
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Before that she was a lecturer at Polytechnic
Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia for 14 years. She is currently undertaking
her PhD in the School of the Built and Environment at the University of
Salford, UK. Her PhD is primarily about The Significance of
Knowledge Management in Improving Knowledge Sharing in the
Training and Skill Development of Human Resource Management
(HRM) in Consultancy Practices in Malaysia. She also a Council
Member of Institute of Value management Malaysia since 2000.

Mohd Fadzil Mat Yasin is a Lecturer at the University Technology MARA (UiTM)
Perak, Malaysia. His first degree was in Building Surveying from UiTM and
Masters Degree in Building Technology from University Science Malaysia (USM).
He also serves as a committee member for Institution of Surveyors Malaysia
(ISM) -Building Surveying Division since May 2005 to May 2008. His PhD
research area is about Effectiveness of Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE)

Mohd Rofdzi Abdullah is a lecturer from Department of Building,
Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying, University Technology MARA
(UiTM) Perak, Malaysia. He is currently undertaking PhD programme at the
University of Salford, UK under the supervision of Prof. Charles Egbu.
His research area is Industrialised Building System (IBS) and will focusing on
Effective Implementation Model of IBS in Public Projects in Malaysia.

Shah Alam, Malaysia in Construction Project Management discipline.

Hendrix was a student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nigeria, where he
did his first degree in Banking and Finance. He worked for the Federal
Ministry of Finance under the NYSC scheme for one year. His Master degree
was in IT Application Development at the University of Sunderland, UK.
He is presently a PhD candidate at the University of Salford, UK and
also the Secretary General of China Association for Management of Technology
(CAMOT). His research area is on Technology Transfer in the

Salh Ali M. Bezweek graduated from University of Alfateh/Libya with BSc in
Communication Engineering and MSc from Technical University of Budapest/Hungary
in Mobile Communication Engineering Management. He is General Manager in Garian
Local Planning Council and lecturer at Faculty of Engineering and informatics/University of Garian.
He is currently undertaking his PhD in the school of the Built Environment, University of Salford, UK.
His PhD is primary about improving Quality of Communication Process.

At undergraduate level, I lecture in Construction Process
Management 1 and 2, I also participate in the Corporate Strategy

Zayyana Shehu
I have strong interest in all facets of construction management,
procurement, construction planning and capable of handling all
responsibilities associated with it. With 9 years of construction
engineering, planning and management experience and depth of knowledge
of what it takes to make positive contributions to managing projects.
I have strong ability to develop and handle all the day-to-day issues
of engineering, planning, procurement, programming, quality control,
general site supervision and implementing future programmes and systems.

Recently Completed PhD StudentsDr. Kirsty Hunter
Kirsty Hunter is a researcher and Project Manager in the School of the Built and
Natural Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University having
obtained a 2.1 Honours degree in Building Design Engineering
BEng at the University of Strathclyde Glasgow. Her current
post has involved working on a range of research projects in the
general area of value management and value engineering.
She also assists Professor John Kelly of Glasgow Caledonian
University in a variety of workshops in predominantly
construction-related projects. Kirsty has completed the
IVM certified advanced courses towards a professional
qualification in value management. Kirsty has a PhD degree
in the field of value management which involved an investigation
of the application of value management in the public service sector,
an area where value management is infrequently used in the .
Her PhD work and involvement in research projects have allowed
Kirsty to attend and present at a number of international conferences.
Through the dissemination of her research Kirsty has won two best paper
awards at international conferences and one highly commended Emerald Journal award.
Dr. Subashini Suresh
Subashini Suresh is a research assistant in the Centre for Research
in Six Sigma and Process Improvement, under Strategy, Operations
and Leadership thematic group at the Caledonian Business School ,
Glasgow Caledonian University , UK . She recently received her PhD
from Glasgow Caledonian University which focused on "Knowledge
Capture in Small and Medium Enterprises in the UK Construction
Industry". She has been a research assistant in Indian Institute
of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India . She received her Masters in
Construction Technology and Bachelors of Civil Engineering from
Bangalore, India, with a First Class Distinction.
Dr. Champika Liyanage
Champika is a lecturer from Department of Building Economics,
University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. She is currently undertaking her PhD
in the School of the Built and Natural Environment at Glasgow Caledonian
University. Her PhD is primarily about the role of facilities management
in the control of Healthcare Associated Infections. She also worked as a
part-time research assistant for three months in Glasgow Caledonian
University in the year 2003, to complete a project on healthcare associate
infections. She also won an award for the best student from the National
Health Service in Scotland for her submission entitled 'control of
healthcare associated infections in domestic services'.
Dr. Anthony Olomolaiye
Anthony Omobowale Olomolaiye graduated from one of Nigeria’s
renowned Universities, Obafemi Awolowo University, in 1994.
Thereafter he did the one year compulsory National Service
as a site supervisor. He later joined a construction firm as a
Project Manager from where he moved to a roofing company as
acting Sales Manager. His interest in working on project sites
saw him becoming a Technical Operations Manager with a
construction. But his desire to attain higher academic
qualifications drove him to start a full-time PhD research
programme in 2003. Anthony has been able to progress steadily
in his research works aided by his many years of practical
construction experiences.
Dr. Cynthia Lee
Cynthia Lee is a Research Assistant with the Department
of Building and Natural Environment. She graduated with
distinction from the MSc IT Management in Construction course
from the University of Salford. Her research interests are in
the area of Information Technology for the construction
industry, Process Management and Knowledge Management.
Micah Vines
Mr Micah Vines read his first degree in civil engineering in
Papua New Guinea (PNG) at the PNG University of Technology and
graduated in 1997. He briefly worked as a construction site
engineer for a major building contactor from 1998 to 2000.
He undertook further studies for a Masters (MSc) Degree in
Construction Management at Loughborough University, in the
United Kingdom from 200-2001 and returned to PNG briefly in at
the end of 2001 to work as a Project Manager on two AusAid
health projects before taking up a full-time PhD research
programme at the School of The Built and Natural Environment at
Glasgow Caledonian University in June 2002.

Dr. Suresh H Renukappa
He began his doctoral studies at the School
of the Built and Natural Environment at Glasgow Caledonian
University in December 2003, under the direction of
Prof. Charles Egbu. Prior to this he worked in software industry
for four years.
He is on study leave from the Tata
Consultancy Services Limited (TCS), the world-leading
information and communication technology consulting,
services, and business process outsourcing organisation.
He obtained his Master of Science by research
from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, one of the premier institute in the world.
His first degree was in Civil Engineering from Bangalore
University with high distinction. He also obtained Diploma
in Civil Engineering from Karnataka Technical Education Board,
Bangalore with a fourth rank.
His research interests include knowledge management, change management, six sigma,
capability maturity model, sustainability, real time embedded systems, fuzzy logic and neural networks.
